Motiv Race and wootparts.com is based out of the metro area of Detroit, MI. What started as a group of friends getting together to work on each others cars and hitting up the local meets and events with each other turned into something a bit bigger.

It all happened early 2003 when we took on the idea of starting our own business. We were all sick and tired of being overcharged for labor, parts, and time. We were so fed up with every other local shop giving us the run-around; never returning calls, hard to get a hold of when our cars were in their shop, and most of all; sub-par work was done in lengthy amount of time! We all just couldn't believe some of the things local businesses were getting away with! Not only did we notice this but a lot of fellow enthusiast were feeling the same way!

So as we watched the import community we all belonged to slowly crumble and shops fall to nothing; we also started our quest to change peoples minds on how businesses in the sport compact community were handled. Thus the birth of Motiv Race!

Slowly we got up on our feet, gathering information from the industry, and many processes of trial an error over time. We are officially taking a step forward in the market to supply the community with EXCELLENT customer service and great prices! Not only are we here to help you get your car up on the streets or track, we are also here to save you a couple bucks so you can afford to put gas in that rig of yours and travel with us to track events and meets! We are open arms for people that just want to hang out and learn a couple things with us, and share some experiences!
